Hardship in the Eyes of You, The Readers
On Sunday, I will have five months of sobriety. It's been a difficult month for whatever reason, so the subject of the readers' stories this month are very relevant.
I asked for stories of personal hardship, and many people felt compelled to write. It reminded me of my post about the mother who lost her five year old child and then delivered a premature baby. When I read other's issues, I realize that we all face hardships in our lives and we need to get out of our own heads. We need to reach out to others because you don't know what the woman next to you might have gone through.
Read and contemplate.
Nance (Spacemom) talks about the decision that made her life what it is today in A Decision of a Lifetime.
In My Life, Iris discusses the horrible hardships she has had to endure and how they have made her who she is today.
Loni, of Joy in the Morning, wants to bring your attention to a dangerous game kids are playing in The Choking Game.
In Everything Has A Season, Julie talks about her difficulty getting pregnant and the results thereafter.
Leanna speaks of adopting a special needs child in Dreams of Your Daughter.
In Me, Too, AIS struggles with her husband's infidelity.
In Daddy, Angie speaks of the difficulty her family had with her husband away.
Amanda talks about her Nightmare in the military and how she has struggled with the emotional crisis afterwards.
In From Self Sacrifice To Self Love, Hueina speaks of the importance of not depending on others to derive your happiness.
Mama Duck speaks of the frustrations of a toddler in The Things I Do For This Child.
Kate writes of the subject of Grieving Children and the creation of Camp 9/11.
In Emergency!, Amy talks of some very serious health problems she endured.
Patricia talks about her Eating Disorder Recovery in 14 Years Free: You Can Break From Addiction or Bad Habits, Too.

I just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed the topic. It is so easy to forget and not slow down.

Thanks to all who stop by www.JonathonsCloset.blogspot.com to read of our family journey thru grief and loss. I share my son's challenges when I write of children and grief because so few people realize what a grieving child goes thru each and every day.

This really made me stop and realize how much worse things could be in my life. I can honestly say I have had my share of hardships and being disabled basically at 29 was tough. However when I read of people that have lost a child, I can't fathom how they make it through. My daughter was a normal preg but both boys were very early. It was tough but both were fine and sometimes I forget how lucky I was with them. That was many years ago and both struggle with school but I am lucky I have them to be struggling with school. Thanks for the reminder that we all have our ups and downs in life and no one has a perfect life.
